Child Dedication

Just as Mary and Joseph took the infant Jesus into the temple and dedicated him, we encourage parents to do the same. The dedication is as much for the child as it is for the parents. Dedicating a child acknowledges God’s sovereignty over the child and the parents. Parents present the child before God and His people, asking for grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibility and praying that the child will one day trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
